Bureau of Construction Codes Annual Report Due

Greetings MIACCA Members:

For the benefit of our members, Legislative Committee Chair, Phil Forner, had submitted to  LARA a FOIA subscription request for reports created to comply with MCL 339.5217 which has been granted. 

The Bureau of Construction Codes will now be publishing its annual report  describing the activities of the department and each board regarding the Skilled Trades Regulation Act at the following URL: https://www.michigan.gov/lara/0,4601,7-154-10573_11550---,00.html.  

As a Mechanical Contractor, the ability to now access the department and board activities brings a new, useful benefit as it now creates a new transparency of events that happen throughout the year for you to track, gauge and bring up your concerns through MIACCA for comment at future BCC board meetings.
